Day event has been arranged in November to launch the new HealthProjectof Aroza Health and Beauty Services, “Health Concern Croydon”
The initiative is a partnership between Aroza and Health Champions of Croydon’s New Health Project that aims at offering residents especially women of Croydon a variety of services to help and support obese population to improve their health and well being.
To introduce local people to what's on offer, there was plenty of fun for all the family, at the event took place on Saturday 29th November from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Women, Children and their families can enjoy games, activities and party food at the new CVA’s healthy resource centre near West Croydon Station. The event was organised by Aroza. There was activities and entertainment for children aged 5 to 10, henna, Asian clothes, Natural products and food stalls. Information about the new Aroza’s services and products  was available at the event.
Founder of Aroza, Shakira Sayyed, who is a Health Champion of Croydon and a qualified nutritionist working with people with obesity and health issues related to it, said, “We are aiming to improve health conditions especially of obese people and the quality of life for residents’ especially BAME  women in Croydon. This fun event has been set up to appeal to all age groups and is an excellent way of introducing local people to the project. They can take advantage of the latest information about health and wellbeing. There was a health Seminar in which we deliver latest information about preventive measures to avoid illnesses. I'm sure it will be very popular and will attract a wide range of communities in Croydon in future”.
The other two Health Champions who are involved in this project are, Esther Johnson and Nadine Graham.
