The founder of the club Shakira Sayyed SAC Dip. is a Graduate from Karachi University, Pakistan. She is a qualified beautician, Diet and Nutrition Adviser and well trained health and wellness coach by the world no.1 leader in health and wellness industry. She is a  Health Champion, a project run by Croydon Voluntary Action and funded by Primary Care Trust Croydon.
Shakira is a community activist since 2005. During her social activities within the community she realised that her community needs her talent and abilities to help people in need. Especially women with health issues. In 2007 she started working on her capacity building and completed her Business Start-up course from CALAT in Croydon. After completing her course she got a Community Champions Award by Scarman Trust for organising and completing her health project for women. Since February 2007 she did a series of different courses of business building as a health and wellness coach and received various certificates. She was amongst the 15 successful graduates of a social enterprise start- up course run by Croydon Enterprise Partners, Croydon Voluntary Action. The certificates were presented by Councillor Tim Pollard, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development. The presentation on Thursday 15th November 2007 came on Social Enterprise Day, part of Enterprise Week. Shakira received her certificate for her project Aroza Health and Well-being Club for women.

She is an active member of Croydon Asian Women's Organisation, Croydon Voluntry Action, Asian Resource Centre Croydon, Elmwood Community Centre, Croydon Mosque women's Group & Croydon Muslim Women Association.
She volunteered at Age UK as a nutrition adviser for the project  Fit as a fiddle and positive aging. She is also an Ambassador of Peace, Croydon Ambassador, Health Champion of Croydon and an honarary Genaral Secretory of CAWO.
